Camping out is an experience that every girl and every boy should have… There are certain sides of our nature that will be underdeveloped if we have not the campfire for our teacher. The experience that softens the heart and kindles friendship and the imagination is no less educative than the knowledge that instructs the head. Camping intensifies friendship, and friendship furnishes the motive and the reward of most of our efforts. It doubles our strength for achievement. It gives us most of the joys of life. It is the riches of the spirit and quite as worthy of effort as wealth or learning.

Camp Mimanagish is a 3 season Camp & Conference Center in the heart of the Abasaroka Wilderness 40 miles due South of Big Timber, Montana. The camp is set in close to the beautiful Boulder River deep in the Boulder Valley.
Currently, Camp Mimanagish is open from the first weekend in May through the summer to Labor Day weekend. We are now opening camp earlier in the spring to better utilize the great green days.
The camp offers both youth camps ranging from grades 3 to 12 and adult camps for all ages. It also plays host to many UCC and non-UCC related camps. Anyone wanting to schedule an event can call the camp during the season or the UCC conference office during the winter months. For more information about the camp click on the "Camp Info " section.

The Outdoor Ministries program of the Montana-Northern Wyoming Conference provides a unique opportunity for persons of all ages to experience Christian love and community. In the beauty of the Camp Mimanagish setting, in harmony with God's Creation, surrounded by others who seek to live in community with each other as Jesus taught, and with plenty of time for fun and relaxation, worship and meditation, study and exploration, we discover that love abounds to help shape our lives.
