Just For Parents
We have recognized that there may be ;-) a bit of separation anxiety for parents to leave their children at camp for days at a time. For some, its a relief and a cheap babysitter and you can not wait to take that deep breath as you are driving out the driveway! Here is a bit of information just for you parents. If you have ideas for more stuff to put here please email the conference webmaster using the Contact Us link to the left.
What things should I not let my child take to camp? TSA ain't checking baggage... it's up to you to screen what they are taking to camp with them. Certainly do not let them bring the following items......
- Portable Electronic Game Systems (Gameboy, ect...)
- Cell phones! They do not work anyways.
- Goats... They eat the flowers
- Weapons of any kind including pocket knives. Safe Camp Guidelines prohibit weapons at camp.
- Pets... They can't take animals home so they shouldn't bring them with um.
- Sugary Snacks or Any Snacks... Because their counselors will kick your butt when you come get them and I am sure they will give them more sugar for the ride home! Oh and the bears love the snacks too!
What time can I drop off (get rid of) my kid? All youth camps start accepting children at 3pm on the first day of camp. Normal drop off times are from 3pm - 5pm. This will allow campers to get settled in and ready for their first bit of program or for dinner! If you are going to drop you child off early or late you must contact the camp via phone as soon as you can at 406-932-6311
What time do I need to pick them up by? All youth camps end at 10am. Campers should never be picked up before that time as it interferes with program and the closing circle. Any camper left after 12pm will be sold on Ebay to the highest bidder ;-)! Please contact us if you are going to be late! If you forget to pick up your child, don't laugh it does happen, the camp will make arrangements for the transport of your child to your town! This transport will be at your expense and will not be cheap as you will be charged per mile + staff per hour + therapy sessions for your child!

Can I call my kid because I miss them so much? Nope... Deal with it! Just kidding... It is not recommended to contact your child at camp during their stay as it often times causes home sickness believe it or not. If you must contact your child please do so around meal times of 8am, 12pm, 6pm. This will ensure that your child is close by when the phone rings. If you just want to send them a note please email them at

. They will get your email at the next meal. In case of emergency please call the camp at any time. 406-932-6311
As you can see this is a work in progress but any little bit helps with the pain of the umbilical cord stretch right? If there is something you would like on this page please email us and let us know okay!
